  • I hear nothing about the prime mover of the motgage crisis, Bush's Ownership initative that allowed 13% mortgages in the first place. He said he was trying to help Mexican-Americans working three jobs who otherwise wouldn't qualify for a mortgage.

  • Republicans can't keep staight the bailout (passed by Bush) from the stimulus (Obama.)Stimulus has kept Michigan from falling. If GM had bankrupted (bailout from Obama), situations would have become dire. There are jobs on the way with lithium battery plants opening.

  • It is laudable and understandable to want to hang on to money earned. The tax system is a patchwork of plums and road mines. I had to pay 25% of IRA withdrawals in taxes because my wife is still working.

  • The majority are not overtly racist. They do tend to blame the victims of poverty for the country's problems. While there are welfare queens out there, they are a small minority of poor.

  • You have very little insight. Her professional life has been on hold for 2 years and with no resolution in sight. The process was to root out corrupt or incompetent people, not to enforce ideology.
